Workshop – Basic Camera Settings

The session will be led by Ian Williams.    Learn about the interaction between shutter speed, aperture and ISO and how to choose the right camera settings for a particular photograph type. Optionally bring your camera to see how these settings are made. There will also be an overview of lens types, white balance, image size (pixels) and other camera basics. A brief explanation will be given about how to store and back up photographs on a computer. On a more advanced side a very brief explanation of HDR will be given.
