We will have a “drop-in” field trip to Holywell Bay, which as many will know, provides a wealth of opportunities for coastal photography, with both wide vistas and detail shots of sea, beach, cliffs, dunes, and streams being available. There is no definitive timetable, but many of us aim to be there from about 5pm, and at great expense we have arranged for the sun to set pretty well opposite the beach, albeit not until just before 9pm.
No specific food times have been arranged, but the option of both food and drink throughout the evening, at the St Piran or the Treguth, both within walking distance of the beach, is available.
Parking recommended at the National Trust car park.
If anyone wishes to try their hand at new techniques or would like specific help with their camera, please let Alan know at the May monthly meeting at the MMI (remember that this will be on May 21st this month, rather than the 14th, which is the CPA annual exhibition presentation at Truro College).
